Atheism is a religion. Infact, All religions have 3 things in common.

Atheism fits this criteria. It is a religion. You do not need a god to be a religion.

Religion: 1 a: the state of a religious b (1): the service and worship of God or the supernatural (2): commitment or devotion to religious faith or observance
2: a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices
3archaic : scrupulous conformity : conscientiousness
4: a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith
— re·li·gion·less adjective

Yep, atheism fits this also.

Besides, for someone such as yourself to put homosexuals down by calling them faggots, why do you claim to CARE so much about our souls going to hell? Seems like you aren't here to convert us to your religion at all....or to save us from eternal burning...in fact, you're here to slander and condemn. So...what does your bible say about that?

Okay let's look at the term RELIGION: A religion is a set of stories, symbols, beliefs and practices, often with a supernatural quality, that give meaning to the practitioner's experiences of life through reference to an ultimate power or reality.

Yeah, I don't think my being an atheist fits into that explaination at all. :) Humanist, ON IT'S OWN, is more reflective of what atheism is to me, so ChristopherN79 is only half right.

That's comedy logic right there.

Really, it's difficult to take someone seriously when everything they say is comical (whether they mean to be or not).

You still did not justify your lie about the bibles verses being taken out of context as to prop 8.

Christians NEED a god to believe in...and that's okay. You all have fun with your god. That's the whole point; I (and many others, whether they be gay or straight or black or white) .. don't NEED a god to have purpose in their lives.

The difference is, whether or not I am in a gay marriage, it doesn't have any negative bearing on anyone's life whatsoever. None. Nobody would even be conversing with any gay and married people if it weren't for the internet. So at least people on here are becoming LESS ignorant by learning about what a gay and married person's life is about. Ask away. I've already answered the obvious condescending negative stereotypical questions from the likes of ChristopherN79 and YesOn8won.

Besides, christians only care about pointing out the sinners so much because they are forced to preach their beliefs on others by the commandments of their religious book. In other words, christians are slaves to their religion because they don't have an answer to the purpose of life. Plus they all are guaranteed to have a nice happy afterlife. :)

Me, I don't care about other people's interpretations regarding the purpose(s) of one's life, because neither you nor anyone or anything else can explain what the purpose of the universe and everything in it is for. ONE ancient religious BOOK can not explain everything, otherwise there wouldn't be OTHER relgious books claiming the same 'stories' as being truth. Science cannot prove it either. That's okay; really, it is okay to not know the answer.

And here's the big difference. I DON'T care what you do with your life, as long as you don't break the laws of the government or unfairly treat other beings on this planet, because we are all forced to live under the same laws reflective of our geographical location on this planet.

But of course some don't want to live by the rules of the government.

They want to hide behind the alter of religion and throw condemning stones to the 'sinners'.

...Yeah sounds like a nice religious group to belong to. No wonder so many people have 'been saved'. It's so much fun to claim to be a christian, apparently free of sin yet sit there hypocritially and tell people they're sinning and going to hell.

Maybe I'll go back to the church and get me some stones. After all, it is simply a CHOICE to follow one god or another, depending on what religious affiliation you belong to.

And yes, the American communist liberites Union is an evil, anti American group. Who wishes to change America, from traditional, to God knows what. And yes, Homosexuals do perverted sex acts like shoving random objects into their anus.

Atheism has no god, no deity and no creator either, and it is a religion. A humanist religion.

CN said, "You must have a creator to have order and purpose, to have logic and reason."

Uh... no. You don't. You can have science, logic, and personal reason. You don't necessarily need a deity to worship to live a happy life.

Keep in mind that Buddhism, one of the worlds' most popular religions, has no god, no deity, and no creator.

You state christians use "fear tatics". But that does not change the truthfulness of the supposed fear tatic claim. Its like saying that telling you to look both ways befoe crossing a street is a fear tatic. What it is, is telling you the truth, and helping you try to avoid future trouble. You should be scared, very scared, for hell is not fun.

I don't understand how atheists do anything to begin with. Because to be an atheist one must deny the existence of any God. Thats not logical. You also must assume that we are all accidental cosmic chances that have no purpose, and reason for our actions. We are no better then the animals, and have no logical reason to do anything for any purpose.

This is all absurd, and I don't really believe in true atheists anyway, Just agnostics who hate christianity. Because atheism is not logical.

You have no command to do anything for any reason. The fact that you do anything is laughable, since you are without use or purpose, an accident with no reason, swamp soup. In short, atheism is illogical, and must borrow from other things, like christianity to do anything logical or moral.

Also, why should people live in harmony? If we are all mush with a creator, then why do anything. And what is harmony? How do you know harmony is good, what do you base this on? If evolution is true, then we hav no reason to trust our minds since nothing is created with a purpose, and everything can be relative and scattered, even supposed logic.

You must have a creator to have order and purpose, to have logic and reason. Nothingness cannot form somethingness. All things that begin, like the universe have to have a purpose.

So we have stablished your a sodomite, a communist sympathiser, and now you suffer from schitzo delusiuons of some seperate America. Makes sense to me. When you are perverted sexually, the rest just falls into its own deranged place.

I would also like to know what verses are taken out of context in the bible about the prop 8 issue?

No, what that video does is show hatred of morals, God, christians, the bible, Jesus, and anything else not far left and looney.

Why? Because it points out that the Prop 8 supporters lied to voters and used scripture passages out of context to get people to vote to take people's legal marriages away?

Religion seems to blind many people from enjoying life and living together in harmony.

Better question is: Why is your bible more holy and more right than other religious scriptures?
